Abstract
Physical activity contributes to a variety of health benefits. Therefore, preventing sedentary behavior is critical for the promotion of physical activity in people of all ages.Thisstudywastoclarifytherelationshipbetweensedentarybehaviorandthelivingenvironment.Thisstudysurveyedresidentslivinginhouseswithadequate insulation performance. In the cross-sectional survey, we examined the relationship between living environment and sedentary behavior at the daily and individual levels, using multilevel analysis. In the intervention survey, we examined the relationship between changes in the indoor thermal environment and sedentary behavior by requesting the active use ofheating.
