    Abstract

15 ns, high-speed wavelength tuning from 1543 nm to 1559 nm has been successfully demonstrated using a PLZT arrayed-waveguide grating. The free spectral range and the 3-dB bandwidth were 32 nm and 2.3 nm, respectively.
