Abstract

A 67-year-old male with chronic renal failure had been on a hemodialysis treatment for 3 years and 4 months. He presented with a left renal mass incidentally detected on abdominal ultrasound examination. The T2-weighted MRI demonstrated a hyperintense mass at the lower pole and a hypointense mass at the upper pole respectively. They were diagnosed as renal cell carcinomas and left radical nephrectomy was performed. Histopathological diagnoses of the specimen were renal cell carcinoma and renal tubulopapillary adenoma respectively.
