Abstract

In ITS, it is considered to support the prevention of accidents and the evasion of traffic jam. Therefore, a data propagation method by using a V2V (Vehicle-to-Vehicle) communication is examined. However, it is difficult for existing methods to propagate data to vehicles in multiple areas because existing methods assume that they propagate data to vehicles in one area. In this paper, we propose a method to realize the data propagation to multiple areas dispersively by changing the destination of a packet dynamically on the basis of vehicle's running trajectory. And, we evaluate this proposal by simulation that assumes the situation in which information of traffic jam is propagated, and verify the effectiveness of this proposal.
