Abstract

The generalized Wiener-Hammerstein model (WHM) is adopted to describe the input-output relationship of high power amplifiers (HPA) with linear dynamics in OFDM systems. A power series model with memory is proposed to approximate WHM or inverse of the HPA, and adaptive predistortion for compensating nonlinearity of HPA is proposed based on identification. The effectiveness of the proposed predistortion method is validated by numerical simulation for 64QAM-OFDM systems.
