Abstract

It is found that low-intensity Ar-laser irradiation of brain vessels induces the Evans Blue (EB) leakage. The extent of damage of the blood-brain barrier during the Ar-laser irradiation is evaluated by the reflectance measurement of EB leakage. The threshold of the irradiation intensity for the leakage is measured. The reversible control of the leakage is demonstrated.
