Abstract

The polarization dependence of degenerate (D-) and nondegenerate (ND-) four wave mixing (FWM) signal is investigated and the two-exciton states in (C6H13NH3)2PbI4 are discussed. The diffracted FWM signal in the direction 2k1-k2 was measured by a charge coupled device (CCD) camera with a monochromator. The positive time delay signal at the position of 44 meV below Ωex was observed. The signal arises from biexcitonic contribution since the lower energy side signal decreases considerably in the co-circularly polarized configuration. The result of NDFWM with few-level model including exciton-exciton interactions is analyzed and the biexcitonic contribution to the optical nonlinearity is estimated.
