Abstract

A patient with blepharocheilodontic syndrome is described and surgical management of euryblepharon is outlined. It has been suggested that euryblepharon consists of hypoplasia of the eyelid; however, the eyelid actually was lax horizontally. Thus, removal of horizontal laxity of eyelid was needed for management of ectropion.
