Abstract
BaTiO3 particles were synthesized in aqueous solution by ultrasonic irradiation. Compared with the conventional mixing method, the formation of BaTiO3 crystalline particles under ultrasonic irradiation was accelerated significantly and completed in 20 min. The monodispersibility of BaTiO3 particles improved with the increase in the concentration of TiCl4. The effect of ultrasonication on the formation of BaTiO3 particles attenuated with the decrease in the output of ultrasonic irradiation.
