Abstract

This paper considers the problem of signal transmission by means of a pair of synchronized chaotic systems. We introduce a design method of an adaptive observer for estimating the unknown parameters and discuss the new method to realize a stable system that sends the message with an arbitrary relative degree. To realize the new method, we propose an augmented error method. The results are illustrated by an example based on Chua's circuits.
