Abstract

A direct adaptive control system for nonparametric plants in the presence of disturbances is proposed. This adaptive control system has robust performance and several desirable features. Since both the proposed controller structure and the frequency-domain adaptation algorithm have parallel architectures, the proposed total adaptive control system is suitable for parallel processing procedures. The effectiveness of the proposed adaptive control system is confirmed by numerical simulations.
