    Abstract

Dependence of the fragmentation pattern of ethanol molecules in dissociative ionization in an intense laser field up to 8 PW/cm2 upon parameters of the ultrashort optical pulse shape is studied. The relative yields of fragment ions exhibit strong dependences on the pulse width.
