Abstract

Combination of Pd(OCOCF3)2 and (M,S,S)-iPr-SPRIX ligand promoted the intramolecular cyclization of 2-alkynoates very effectively to form α-methylene-γ-butyrolactones in good yields with up to 92% ee.
