Abstract

Novel nonionic surfactants containing carbonate linkages were synthesized by the two-step reaction of 1-dodecanol and diphenyl carbonate with the subsequent reaction with tetraethylene glycol using lipase. And their physico-chemical properties and biodegradabilities were measured.
