    Abstract

The spectral reflectance of cortical phantom is measured with a multi-spectral imaging system. The wavelength-dependent path length factor is estimated from the first principal component of the reflectance spectra of the phantom and is compared with the mean optical path length predicted by Monte Carlo simulation.
