Abstract

At present, in the medical field the 40-point method and the facial nerve grading system are generally used for the evaluation of facial palsy. In previous study, previous researchers arranged the many points manually in a face image considering facial muscle, and examined change expression and measured the 3D-coordinate or the vector of those points. In this paper, we tried to make the system that arrange feature points automatically, and changed the way of arrangement of feature points in 3-dimentional space by using ellipsoidal model.
