Abstract

ZnO nanocrystalline thick films were fabricated based upon a solution process with a screen printing method. ZnO nanocrystals were formed from methanolic solutions of zinc acetate and acetylacetone or zinc acetylacetonato. Thickness, surface morphology and a grain size of ZnO of the films largely changed by the printing times and heat-treatment conditions. Dye sensitized solar cells were made of the present films. Characteristics of the cells were dependent on the film structure.
