    Abstract

The femtosecond code-division multiple-access based on spectral encoding of 1.3 μm Cr:forsterite laser is demonstrated. The femtosecond pulse at 65 fs is spectrally encoded through a femtosecond pulse shaper consisting of a liquid-crystal spatial light modulator (LC-SLM) as a programmable phase modulator. With a 127-length M-sequence, the pulse width enlargement factor of 20 is obtained.
