Abstract
The frequency dependence of the impedance of tunneling junction was studied and the feasibility of this application was discussed. Tunneling junction, Al/Al2O3/Al, and coercive differential spin tunneling junctions (STJ), Co/Al2O3/Co were fabricated onto a glass substrate using ion-beam mask sputtering. Impedance was measured using a vector impedance meter in the frequency range 0.1 to 100 MHz. Results indicated that the change in the imaginary part of magneto-impedance, should be detected to utilize the STJ in the high-frequency region.
