Abstract

Self-assembled LBL ultrathin hybrid TiO2/PAA film coated CA nanofiber mats were successfully fabricated by a combination of electrospinning and electrostatic LBL self-assembly techniques. The crystalline phase of anatase TiO2 was retained in the resultant film coated coated fibrous sheets. The BET surface area of the film coated fibrous mats increased in comparison with those for the uncoated ones. These nanofibers coated fibrous mats would show great potential for use as catalysts, filters and sensors.
