Abstract

Adverse reactions to metal debris (ARMD) is an increasingly recognized complication of metal-on-metal total hip arthroplasty. It can result in the formation of a mass lesion around the prosthesis or implant failure. Imaging evaluation is important for diagnosis and management of ARMD.
