abstract = "We formulate elastic and inelastic parts of linear conductance through an Aharonov-Bohm (AB) ring with an embedded quantum dot in the Kondo regime. The inelastic part Ginel is proportional to T2 when the temperature T is much smaller than the Kondo temperature TK, whereas it is negligibly small compared with elastic part Gel when T ≫ TK. Ginel weakly depends on the magnetic flux penetrating the AB ring, which disturbs the precise detection of Gel/(G el+Ginel) by the visibility of AB oscillation.",
