Abstract
This paper describes basic concepts and design techniques for a multi-media information editing terminal used in NTT's digital videotex. This system provides full-color pictures and audio information in addition to text and figures. The new terminal is designed to produce this varied multi-media information simply and quickly. The display priority for text, figures and full-color pictures in addition can be changed easily. Dynamic icon displays that concentrate and integrate former function-keys assure easy operability. The output order for each type of medium can be simply manipulated to allow the information expression in various forms.
