Abstract

Photos allowed: Upon photoirradiation, a purpose-designed fullerene derivative effectively inhibited the cytotoxicity of Aβ42 peptide in neuron-like PC12 cells by degrading the Aβ42 monomer and oligomers, which are key compounds in Alzheimer's disease.
