Abstract

The photo-induced magnetic behavior of single crystal Cd0.63Mn0.37Te was studied. Illuminating below the spin freezing temperature resulted in the decrease of zero field cooled (ZFC) and field cooled (FC) magnetization values in the magnetic semiconductors. In spite of the change below the spin freezing temperature, the FC magnetization showed hardly any relaxation.
