Abstract

We measured a fringe-resolved autocorrelation waveform of near-field femtosecond light generated at a metal probe used in a reflection-type aperture-less scanning near-field optical microscopy for the first time. We studied the dependence of the near field pulse shape on the frequency chirp of launched femtosecond laser pulses.
