Abstract
A method to obtain absorption and dispersion properties with two-dimensional (2-D) tomographic image analysis of interferogram in spectral domain was presented. A super luminescence diode (SLD) was used as a light source for experimental demonstration. Depth spatial resolution of 2-D image was restricted by restricting coherence length or spectral bandwidth of the light sources. Analysis suggested that transmission of halogen lamp light through multi-mode fiber improved longitudinal spatial resolution and measurable wavelength.
