Abstract
The estimation of nickel ions in water is critical from a human health perspective. Herein, we demonstrate the usability of a paper strip analyzer coupled with a smartphone application reader for accurate estimation of Ni2+ ions in water. The limit of detection of the proposed technique is found to be 0.764 μM.
