Abstract

In this paper we designed the starting control law of a V6 spark ignition (SI) engine model as the benchmark problem. The method of adaptive feedback linearization was applied to the control of the throttle butterfly to robustify the exact cancellation of nonlinear terms. By the simulation result we showed the effectiveness of the proposal method.
