Abstract

This note is concerned with a model reference adaptive control design for a linear time-varying systems based on the robust high-order estimator. In order to attain the exact model matching the derivatives of the time-varying plant parameters are needed in constructing control input. These derivatives are not available in standard estimators. This difficulty is overcome by using the high-order estimator. The σ-modified high-order estimator based on the normalizing error ensures the global stability of the proposed control system in the face of swapping error.
