Abstract

7Li and 1H-NMR measurements were carried out for a layered superconductor Li0.48(THF)yHfNCl which shows superconductivity at Tc approx. 23.5 K. We report the characteristic superconducting parameters such as, the penetration depth (λ), the coherence length (ξ), lower critical field (Hc1), and upper critical field (Hc2). From 7Li-NMR studies, it is suggested that the Fermi level density of states at the intermediate Li site are considerably small and the superconductivity is derived from the HfNCl layer.
