Abstract

A new type of tensile fabric structure has been designed by the authors. This structure covers an approximately 30 m multiplied by 30 m free space and it consists of steel frames (main arches and sub arches), fabric panels and steel cables. Steel cables connect the intersecting points of the main arches and the center points of the fabric panels. The analysis of the structure is presented and the accuracy of the analysis and safety of the structure are experimentally confirmed.
