Abstract

In this paper, a new method is proposed to achieve both clean effluent quality and low operational cost simultaneously. This is accomplished by minimizing the certified cost function directly through an extremum seeking approach. the effectiveness of the proposed method is tested on biological wastewater treatment simulator SIMBA.
