Abstract

Extremum Control Strategy (ECS) is one of the methods to maximize or minimize a cost function which denotes efficiency, benefit, loss and so on. As the design method of ECS, Krsitć's method using averaging technique has attracted a lot of interest. In this paper, we propose new design method of ECS based on Krsitć's method and apply it to control the pitch angle of windmill such that windmill can receive the wind energy maximally.
