Abstract

In this paper, we propose a multihop network combined with unidirected ring networks. Our proposed network has large connectivity, small internodal distance, and high efficiency of link assignment. We theoretically analyze the mean internodal distance and the network connectivity of the proposed network. It is shown by numerical calculation and computer simulation that the proposed network achieves smaller mean internodal distance than the conventional connective semirandom network and the same network connective probability as the regular networks.
