Abstract

White LED is considered as a strong candidate for the future lighting technology. We have proposed an optical wireless communication system that employs white LEDs for indoor wireless networks. In this system, LED is not only used as a lighting device, but also used as a communication device. The system has large optical power to function as lighting device. A group including the author has proposed an easy wiring system for visible light wireless communication using existing power line. It can be said that it is the technology of very easy composition of making the signal of the power line into wireless. In this paper, along with the popularization of OFDM system at power line communication, we evaluate the performance of the integrated system on narrowband OFDM power line.
