Abstract

Efficient quasi-phase-matched (QPM) second-harmonic generation (SHG) has been realized using periodically domain-interverted waveguides. This article presents the fabrication technique for periodically poled polymer film using photoisomerization reaction and an experimental demonstration of QPM-SHG.
