Abstract

Photoelectron spectroscopy (PES) of mass-selected Al-rich AlnCo- and Co-rich ConAlm- clusters was performed using 3.49 eV photon energy. Electronic structures of both cluster series were studied under the same experimental conditions. Electron affinities and vertical detachment energies were measured. The resulting data was analyzed in detail.
