Photon subtraction and single photon squeezing schemes for generation of Schrödinger cat-like states under experimental imperfections

Abstract

We present an analysis of generation schemes of Schrödinger cat-like state, including experimental imperfections. Under practical conditions, a scheme using conditional measurement turned out to be more feasible than the one using squeezed single-photon state.
