N2 - By employing ultra-small high-Q photonic crystal nanocavities, we demonstrated 1-ns photon trapping and 1.45-ns pulse delaying. The corresponding light speed is 5,800 km/s. We also demonstrated dynamic tuning of the Q within the photon lifetime.
