Abstract
When a change is made in an organizational process, factors shaping workers’ performance at behavior level should be identified and incorporated into the design along with well-formulated factors such as business process. The challenge here is to identify such performance shaping factors. The goal of our research is to develop an explicit way to identify such factors with the aim of assisting the management of change in organizational processes. In this paper, we present our approach to identify performance shaping factors via guiding the concretization of human behavior models. We also show how our approach can eventually make it possible to integrate factors affecting human performance with the systems development. Finally, we explain how the management of performance shaping factors benefits organizations.
