Abstract

We theoretically simulate the coupling efficiency of each mode of GI rectangular-core, circular-core, and SI rectangular-core polymer waveguides when connected to a circular-core multimode fiber to utilize the GI rectangular-core waveguides for board-level optical interconnections.
