Quantum dot single photon sources transfer-printed on wire waveguides

Abstract

We report quantum dot single photon sources coupled to glass-clad wire waveguides by transfer printing, which enables the heterogeneous source integration in a simple pick-and-place manner. A high waveguide coupling efficiency >60% is experimentally demonstrated.
