Reentrant spin glass properties of Cr1-x-yMnxFeyGe

Abstract

DC and ac magnetic measurements of the exchange enhanced magnetic impurity system Cr1-xMnxGe with x = 0.21 and 0.19 suggest reentrant spin glass behaviours with mixed ferromagnetic and spin glass phase characterized by anisotropy fields. Substitution of Fe for Cr breaks the ferromagnetic ordering due to negative coupling between moments on Fe and Mn.
