Abstract
The signal transduction mechanism of cytokines, mainly the JAK-STAT pathway, has been well characterized. On the other hand, the regulatory mechanism of cytokine signals or cross-talk among cytokines has not been clarified yet at the molecular level, although these regulatory mechanisms are important for cellular function and differentiation. In this paper, the molecular mechanism of regulation of cytokine signals as well as the CIS family recently found by the author's group will be discussed.
