Abstract
A linear adaptive drive system for a brushless DC servo motor is proposed. The structure of this control method is based on the dual-passive adaptive control loop. The drive system using this dual loop can realize strictly robust control of the motor. Numerical and experimental examples show that the proposed method is effective for suppression of the state error caused by parameter variations and force disturbance.
