Abstract

Chronic smoking increases number of pulmonary emphysema patient. It is difficult to cure pulmonary emphysema, because alveoli are destroyed. So early detection is desired. Diagnostic imaging is one method to diagnose pulmonary emphysema which is possible to make early detection. In the conventional method, only inspiratory states are used for diagnoses. In this paper, we propose a diagnose method using both expiratory and inspiratory states. With the original features, we did discriminate analyses and succeed higher accuracy than conventional method.
