Abstract

ShowNet is the network that provides Internet connectivity to the exhibitor's booth on INTEROP show floor that is largest network equipment trade show in the world. ShowNet has another important mission. That is a demonstration on interoperability among the advance network equipments. INTEROP Tokyo show was started in 1994 and we have been making and operating ShowNet with both missions. In this paper, ShowNet on 2002 INTEROP Tokyo Show is described. The topic on ShowNet 2002 is that the first successful demonstration on IPv4/IPv6 dual stack network with broadband network such as 10 Gbit Ethernet, by several commercial routers and a lot of network equipment.
