Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to realize an inexpensive optical module which reduces connection precision using the GI-POF with Ballpoint-pen connection[1]. Specifically, an optical simulation using Zemax OpticStudioTM [2] is conducted to understand the influence of axial and angle misalignment of the optical module with the Ballpoint-pen connection.
