This chapter introduces a twitter data application to a heatwave analysis. Section 8.1 introduces our discussion emphasizing on statistical modeling combining different types of spatial data. Section 8.2 introduces the twitter data and their processing. Section 8.3 explains our analysis method, and Section 8.4 applies this method to a heatwave analysis. Section 8.5 concludes our discussion.
